On Sunday May 18th Fidelity and Gaspee chapters, Order of DeMolay, volunteered their time down at the 23rd Annual Quonset Air Show. Working alongside members of the Quonset Air Museum, the DeMolays of both chapters staffed the static planes brought down from the nearby air museum. The DeMolays were responsible for ensuring the planes were not damaged during the air show and giving general historical information about specific aircraft. In particular, DeMolays worked on the F4 Phantom and Polish MIG 17, where they remained for the entirety of the show.
The DeMolays who attended were; Justin P, Michael P, David L, and Eric P. All the DeMolays had a great time. They were happy they could help out with such a long standing Rhode Island tradition as well as observe a magnificent demonstration of airman ship. It was an amazing day, with the staff of the Air Museum commenting that the DeMolays had done their jobs well.
